NATURAL FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY IN ESSEX
Offering natural, honest and timeless family photography in Essex and London with a documentary approach, I'll use light and composition techniques to document your loved ones in your favourite locations. Your family session can be either at your home or at a lovely location of your choice.
Life goes by in a flash and it's easy to let those magical childhood memories pass without capturing the innocence, the authenticity and the adoration you feel for your children before they grow up. From your toddler taking their very first steps, to your grandparents proudly surrounded by their loved ones, there are so many significant moments that deserve to be documented in a family photography session. My family photoshoots are relaxed, fun and an excuse to spend time with your favourite people. There's no awkward posing – it's just you, your family, children and the unconditional love that is shared between everyone.
I cover Essex, the South East and London for family photography sessions on location. The beauty of having your family photo shoot on location is that your little ones generally feel more comfortable either in their own home or outdoors somewhere fun, where they can be themselves and be playful without being too conscious of the camera. I have lots of lovely locations up my sleeve if you need inspiration or it's always really nice if you have a special location in mind.

IN WHICH AREAS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?Everywhere! I'm based in Essex, and have photographed weddings at many local venues, including Gaynes Park, Baddow Park House, and many more. I also love to photograph London weddings at venues like The Gherkin, Kimpton Fitzroy and The Langham. I work at Old Marylebone Town Hall and Chelsea Old Town Hall regularly too. I have even been lucky enough to photograph destination weddings in various countries too such as Italy, Spain, Portugal and France! WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?Documentary wedding photography is a big part of my work and involves me working quietly, taking natural, storytelling shots as all the wonderful moments of the day unfold. As for creating beautiful portraits together with the two of you, I feel it’s important to take some time to create slightly more guided shots as well. Some gentle direction can create pure, elegant and truly romantic images. I want your photographs to be an authentic and sincere reflection of the day.

WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE AND AFTER THE WEDDING DAY?There's a lot more to natural wedding photography than just taking beautiful photos on the day. Firstly, we will arrange a pre-wedding meeting so that we can discuss your wedding ideas and photography aims, and so that I can gain more understanding of how your wedding day will pan out. You can rest assured that from the pre-wedding meeting to the post-wedding process of selecting and editing photos and designing a beautiful wedding album, you have my full commitment.

DO YOU OFFER ENGAGEMENT/PRE-WEDDING PHOTO SHOOTS?Yes! For an additional fee, these sessions are a really good way for us to get to know each other a bit more before the wedding. It also helps to give you more of an understanding of how I work and offers you the chance to become comfortable with me taking photographs with the two of you. It also gives me more of an understanding of how you guys work and what you are comfortable with before the big day. This session can take place at a location of your choice and can reflect your personalities or hold a significant meaning for the two of you.

WHAT IS YOUR AIM WHEN PHOTOGRAPHING A WEDDING?Documenting wedding stories is by far the most challenging and rewarding thing I know, which is why I love it so much! I want to discover the real you, your characters, your personalities in a beautiful yet honest way, creating sentimental images that will last a lifetime. I work in a relaxed manner, helping you to feel completely at ease, ensuring your photographic story is natural and true to your emotions of the day. I love to work with natural light and combine traditional elements of photography with a modern essence.
